A corrective lens bends the light entering the eye in order to alleviate the effects of nearsightedness (myopia) or farsightedness (presbyopia).
A monocle is a type of corrective lens used to enhance the visual perception of one eye.

The ability of our eyes to focus up close or to distances alters over time. A common condition in people over 40 years of age is presbyopia which is the progressive reduction of the ability of the eyes to focus on things up close. Keylenz® was invented to help people with presbyopia.
The use of a monocular lens means a single corrective lens can be used by the vast majority of people who have difficulty reading up close because the monocular lens can be adjusted to/from the object based on the individual readers needs
Monocles were popular in the 19th and early 20th centuries, especially amongst the wealthy elite. The Keylenz® reading lens makes the monocle available to ANYONE with presbyopia who needs reading assistance in emergency situations.
Put a Keylenz® on your key ring and it’ll be there for years because you won’t want to be without it!
